FOR PARENTS...

 

As a part of our continued effort to help equip parents to excel in the role God has blessed them with as the primary discipler of their children, we have posted Teaching Outlines and Personal Bible Study Guides from our student discipleship program: C.O.W. (Church on Wednesdasys).  They are located on the GROW! page of our student ministry website  For information about what students are talking about during Bible Fellowship Groups (BFGs formerly known as Sunday School) see the CONNECT! page.  We encourage you to use these tools as catalysts for spiritual and life discussions with your teenagers.

This is a website sponsored by "Focus on the Family" that deals with popular entertainment including movies, music, video games, and television shows that are influencing your teenager and their friends.

This is a website that reviews the content of the latest movies and most popular videos.  It included a complete detailed listing of sexual content, language, violence, and other objectionable content.  This is a great way to keep up with what your teenager is watching when you are not with them.

The Center for Parent / Youth Understanding

This website explores trends in youth culture and is loaded with tips and tools for parenting teenagers to be "in the world, but not of it."  There are lots of helpful links on a wide variety of topics from "sports parenting" to "connecting with you kids" in the links section of this website.
